What is the Mini Poll service?

The Mini Poll service allows webmasters to receive feedback from visitors who answer custom designed questions. The Mini Poll service records statistics that are available immediately online.

How does the Mini Poll service work?

• Through the Mini Poll Manager page of your account, you set up poll questions and answers as well as the design of your poll.
• You would then take the provided copy/paste code and paste it onto the webpage of your choice.
• Visitors to your site will answer the poll and click on the 'Vote Now' button to submit their vote.
• You may view your stats from your webpage or from your Bravenet account.

What is poll rotation? How do I set poll rotation in my Mini Poll service?

If you have set up more than one Mini Poll question, you can display a different one each time a visitor comes to your site. This behavior is called Poll Rotation. The rotation is in a random order.

In the General Settings of your Mini Poll Manager, you may choose 'Enable Poll Rotation' if you have more than one poll question. Go to Poll Maintenance to view your questions. If you choose 'Disable Poll Rotation', the poll question you have selected as ACTIVE on the Poll Maintenance page will be shown to each visitor.

What is vote limiting? How do I enable or disable vote limiting?

If you want your visitors to be limited to 1 vote each per poll, choose to enable vote limiting. If vote limiting is disabled, visitors can vote as many times as they like on any of your poll questions.

In the General Settings of your Mini Poll Manager, select either 'Enable Vote Limiting' or 'Disable Vote Limiting'.
